As part of the Ministry of Science’s CuriosasMentes Laboratories–Explore in the Territories!, ChileCarne’s educational program “Superheroes Training,” aimed at promoting healthy nutrition and sustainability among students of rural schools located near pig farms, connecting learning with their immediate environment.

On July 22, twenty-five fourth graders from the Pueblo Seco School in Santa Clara, Ñuble Region, attended the workshop led by ChileCarne’s sustainability team. The students learned about the importance of a balanced diet, the critical role of animal protein, the agri-food production process in Chile, and the key sustainability indicators promoted by the industry.

With games, interactive experiments, and adapted materials, the initiative seeks to help children understand the value of a balanced diet and the principles of sustainable food production in a playful, hands-on way.

The initiative will continue visiting rural schools and reinforcing ChileCarne’s commitment to scientific education, the promotion of healthy habits, and the strong bond between local communities and the agri-food industry.
