At this year’s ENEXPRO, Chile’s largest export event, the strategic objective was diversifying and expanding markets for the country’s goods and services. Organized by ProChile, this year’s theme was “Diversify Your Market.” The event brought together more than 600 domestic companies and 100 importers from 27 key markets—including the United States, China, India, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia—as well as essential partners from Latin America.

Representatives from ChileCarne, together with trade associations such as Wines of Chile, SalmonChile, and Fruits from Chile, participated in the kick-off event held on the first day, where importers were welcomed to the expo. The country’s role as a reliable, competitive supplier of high-quality food was at the forefront.

On the second day, participants attended the official opening ceremony led by President Gabriel Boric, who reaffirmed Chile’s commitment to free trade and stressed the importance of public-private collaboration in consolidating Chile’s standing in international markets.

This year’s ENEXPRO comes at a historic moment: Chilean exports in 2024 exceeded $100 billion USD, setting a new record. The event not only celebrates this milestone but also showcases Chile as a well-rounded trading partner capable of offering innovative and sustainable solutions to meet the challenges of the 21st century.

Held concurrently in the Chilean regions of Antofagasta, Metropolitan, Biobío, and Los Lagos from August 26 to 28, the event offered a full schedule of business roundtables, technical visits, and networking activities focused on key sectors such as agri-food, mining, forestry, aquaculture services, logistics, packaging, health, and non-military defense solutions. These efforts were aimed at generating new commercial opportunities and strengthening the position of Chilean products in global trade.
