On June 30, ChileCarne held its Annual Assembly in person, where the Association’s President Juan Carlos Domínguez gave his report on market analysis, relevant industry figures for the January-May period, and the activities conducted to boost the position of Chilean white meat in international markets. Additionally, the members were able to learn about the 2021 balance and the budget for 2022.

During the event, Domínguez emphasized the need to keep building an increasingly sustainable industry and opening new and better destination markets for white meat. He also highlighted the efforts made by the industry to keep Chile free of diseases that could impact production and trade, all of which help confront an uncertain global scenario on good footing.

The assembly concluded with a talk from Axel Callís, Director of TúInfluyes.com, a research and polling agency that uses innovative and open methodologies, who analyzed Chile’s current political and economic situation.
